I have not had a chance to set it up yet.. Played a ton of Forza 5 over the weekend and never got around to playing around with the settings. Hoping to sit down with the long weekend ahead and getting everything setup properly.

If I were to buy a "current" gen (if Wii U counts) system right now, I'd get a Xbox One, but I'm not sure if I'll ever bother to buy any of them until they're $100 or something like a new Tengai Makyou game comes out.

I still need to get a Japanese 360 to play Ziria on (already picked up a launch Japanese PS3 for Namida). I'll do that before buying a new console.

I understand the disdain for modern gaming.  Install times and the requirement to have minimum 1 hour to play is obnoxious.  With that said, I am a sucker for new systems and I have been ever since the 16-bit console launch, which was the first I was old enough to appreciate.

You guys that are just picking up PS3/XB360 now are probably the smart ones.  Super cheap systems and games and great selection.

I have yet to purchase a PS3 and don't plan on getting a PS4 or Xbone anytime soon.  Not to say it's inevitable, just not in the near future.  Hell, I still only have ten, probably less, games for the Xbox 360.

Console games peaked a long time ago.

Not interested in the 360 i just don't think much of there exclusive games currently.Sure the new,KI has caught my eye but for one game i just can't justify it for that.Not to to mention i don't have any use for the kinect at all beside the console price.By the most,i'm looking to buy a wii u asap and maybe by the next year a PS4.

I wanted progressive scan for Japanese PS2 games, mainly Namida, which suffers from Emotional blurring/ghosting.

Only worthwhile if the music is amazing. The Turbo CD is the only version of that game I ever enjoyed. Part 2 on the Genesis suck by uncleansed nutsack. So it's hard for me to be excited about a new entry. It'll probably be 3D and stuff with tons of "atmosphere".

Pretty much agree with all of this. I'll probably get both the Xbone and PS4 in a year or two.

I had the original Xbox and I loved it, because of that I got the 360 and intially I loved it, but during the later years the consumerization grew so much I just grew disgusted of not only the X360 but other M$ products as well.

To some degree, Sony is getting there as well. Also, I fail to see where the innovation is, there's just no "wow factor" on either the PS4 or the XBOne.

The WiiU at least has the tablet and a few games I may be interested to play. Also, Nintendo seems to be more focused on gaming.

I just do t see a reason to get any new systems, at least not yet.  M$ is basically dead to me.  This day one DLC and nickle and dime BS is overwhelming I've had it basically.  Today I started playing Super Metroid, never played it but I'm willing to bet it'll rule me over anything new.

Sad day but I'm officially off the wagon.
