You just nailed another one of my favs man, and yeah they still play some of these specials on retro teletoon I think but some will never play as now a days people are to up tight with right and wrong in cartoons :P. I will hook you up with both and don't worry about shipping. Seriously.
Ah… Retro teletoon.  I torrent most of my television nowadays.  I have the basic Bell satellite package and that's it.  I got your CBC, and CTV, but I don't see many specials airing.

Here's a few of my Xmas specials on hard copy.  There aren't many, but I do have a Toopy and Binoo one that you don't have Sparky.   :P  Interesting fact:  Nelvana distributes Toopy and Binoo and produced Cosmic Christmas.

The rest are cartoons I hope to share with my kids when they are old enough.  Some I have already shared, mainly the age appropriate stuff.

My favourite 'adult' Christmas show has always been "It's a Wonderful Life".  For years I could never remember the title because it doesn't have "Christmas" in it.  Ernest is another favourite mainly because it's just out of the box story wise with some Christmas ideas that have never been thought of, or used, in other movies.

Nice little collection!

For some reason I always end up watching Mr. Bean's christmas episode. I like Rowan Atkinson's act.

I picked up Doctor Snuggles from the UK.  It's a 4 disc box set with interviews and commentaries.  If you look around you might find a torrent of it.  It's most likely mine as I searched everywhere for these episodes before finally breaking down and buying a hard copy of all of them.  The format I have is PAL which is why I converted them all to digital.  Maybe the copy you have originated from me!  :D

Jeremy the bear!  A classic!  I remember that one, it came on right after/before "Fables Of The Green Forest" which is another series I'd purchase in a heartbeat if I could only find it.

Last Unicorn you can pick up for a tenner at your local Future Shop on Blu-ray.  I still think it's the best thing Jeff Bridges ever did.  It is dark for a cartoon.  I watched in the theatre back when I was 12 or 13 and I remember it making an impact.  Not because it was scary, just because it was the first cartoon I had ever seen to illicit fear in me.  Until Last Unicorn, I didn't know cartoons could be anything but funny or fun to watch.  I'll wait on this one to show to my kids.  They don't need to see a harpy eating Mommy Fortuna (Angela Lansbury) alive while she screams to death.  I watched it with my wife the other week.  After it was done she just looked at me and said "I don't know you at all".  We've been married 5 years.

Sparky thanks for the copies of Cosmic Christmas and 'Twas The Night Before Christmas!  I tore them out of the envelope and as soon as the DVDs had warmed up to room temp I had them in my PS3.  'Twas The Night Before Christmas went in first.  My wife was at work so I called the kids into the room to watch.  Both of them sat transfixed on the television.  I'm proud to say that I nearly teared up by the end of it.  Once it was finished I asked my daughter if she liked it.  She nodded enthusiastically.  I asked my son if he liked it and he just said, "I didn't like it".  Later I asked him why and he told me it was sad for too long.  I never really thought about it, but yeah I guess he's right.

I haven't seen 'Twas The Night Before Christmas aired on television in years.  I can only guess the reason as to why.  I think it has to do with Santa smoking a pipe in the cartoon.  That's all I can think of that would get it banned in today's stupid society.  It's too bad, because this is a fond memory for me.  Not only is it a great cartoon, but it has some well written and sung memorable songs.

Oh and for the record I use to watch this every Xmas and I have never smoked a pipe or had the inkling to do so.

THANK YOU SPARKY!

Amazingly I have seen this movie!  and it is in the collection!  Picked it up out of a dollar movie bin.  Cheesy but not bad.  My favorite part of the dub is when the two groups of kids are facing off and hurling insults, in the background one of the lines is
"Your mother drives a lawnmower Eh"
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Spenoza: The wannabe masculinity just overwhelms.

A classic line.  I've used it many times out on the town with the lads.
