Doesn't that hurt!? The only thing worse is stepping on a piece of rawhide the dog's been chewing on all night.... Squish... Ewwwwwe....  :-&
The worst is cat puke.  Nothing better than chewed up Meow Mix thrown up on the floor and a bare foot mushing into it.

I'm actually impressed y'alls children play with toys. My oldest son (12) liked power rangers, beyblade, and plastic animals(mainly dinosaurs), but he quickly grew out of them. the minute he figured out how to work the PS2 toys were out the door.

My other two,  8 and 3, have never really liked toys. I guess they are victims of the digital age. Its a shame really, because I remember how much fun I had with my star wars, GI Joe, and he man toys. The battles and the level of imagination were epic! At least in my little bubble :)
I hear ya.  My kids are only 2 and 4, and they have had exposure to iPhone's App's, but I'm trying to keep "old school" toys alive.  LEGO is still very popular in my house.  Transformers (Rescue Bots) was the big item this year for my son.  Unfortunatley, my 2 year old daughter has fallen into the Disney Princesses trap.  Clever marketing on Disney's part.  We had Disney for generations, and the princesses in those movies forever, but it's only recently that Disney took them all and added the "Princess" line of toys.  Genius on their part.  I refuse to allow my daughter to fall into the trampified versions of Disney Fairies.  Tinkerbell and her gang of hooker fairies are not permitted in the house.

I try to push Hot Wheels, LEGO, and other classic toys on the kids.  I only wish they'd bring back the Fisher-Price Adventurer line of toys.  Fisher-Price has rebooted some of their toys like the old record player, and branded them "old-school", but anyone thinking of buying them should avoid them.  The record player runs on batteries and it's no where close to the original except looks-wise.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

My most favorite car (shhh...don't tell the others I love Mr. Missy the most) has permanent tuna fish breath. It's so bad, Jesus would forsake him, but I haven't (yet).

Sparky, I'm curious about those He-Man books! Any chance you could scan them? Or take pics?

SPECIFICALLY ABOUT TEELA'S SECRET.

No, I'm not joking.

Surprisingly yes.. Everything works just as well as a real pool table and the billiard balls just an 1/8th of the real size.. Do taters, the little will likey. Even comes with chalk and a brush for the table.
