Now it looks like you have a lawsuit on your hands, nice going.

and

I'm going to suggest to the moderators of this forum that they take every screen shot down and every reference to my full name down immediately or they are going to hear from my lawyer.  This is compromising my identity and my personal safety and I will not put up with it.  I highly suggest you remove this whole topic and every topic I posted so I can leave this site with my identity safe.

and via private PM

GO f*ck YOURSELF

So anyway Mr. Aaron Lambert. To sum all of this up:
You open up a Facebook group, which I am guessing took you all of 5 mins to do.

You act retarded and power mad as f*ck all on your facebook group, and ban people who correct you on your and your other friends behavior and other issues.

You partake in copyright infringement by making t-shirts and selling them that use copyrighted materials belonging to other corporations and entities.

You come to this forum, either totally ignorant to the fact of it being home to everyone you seemed to have banned, or just not really caring because you are so hard up for cash that you think these same people will be suckers for cheap crap.

You now find out that your behavior on one website has followed and ruined your reputation and ability to sell on another website.

You claim comments made about you are slanderous, even though everything stated has been proven as fact by the evidence posted from facebook right down to the pics of the final product t-shirts you are hawking.

You threaten lawsuits in an attempt to destroy any reference to your erratic and abusive activity (I expect people to start saving/archiving every post that has been made, both on here and on facebook to cover yourselves, otherwise this guy might just start lying about the things he posted and what you yourselves have stated).

So, lets get real here. You come to a community to sell items, but don't want anyone to know who you are. Just some mysterious guy with no name selling t-shirts. Yet you use your real name for your profile ID and now claim your safety is compromised? Just how many people or customers have you pissed off that you're now worried people know who you are? You threaten to sue people, along with this website/forum, over your own foolish facebook activity that was re-posted here. No morally responsible lawyer would take your case when presented with all of the facts and seen you are in the wrong.

Also, what makes you think that none of us would not think twice to notify the proper copyright/trademark holders for the logos and catchphrases you are illegally using on your t-shirts? For that matter, what makes you think one of us has not already done so?

You want some advice Aaron L?
1.Close shop. The items you are selling you have no legal right to do until you obtain permission and a contract with the original copyright holders.

2. Never threaten lawsuits on the internet, especially over your own tom foolery that you yourself caused. You be responsible for all of our legal fee's in your supposed suit against us, if you actually filed one, as your own would obviously fail. Pulling a Rising Stuff scares no one on this forum, especially me. You claiming others are slandering you, compromising your safety, or blaming others for damaging your sales is in itself false claim, leans towards slander/defamation of our character, and could possibly be grounds for a lawsuit itself.

A lawsuit involving multiple parties on this forum who would all file together in a huge forum superpac whose goal would be to rightfully and publicaly expose you for every wrong/grievance you had committed against us and to legally and rightfully bankrupt your stupid ass into oblivion with legal fees for attacking and slandering this forum and its members over your own questionable behavior and illegal sales of others work/tradmarks/copyrights that you have as of yet to present any legal right to be able to sell.

Yes, try it, f*ck with us and see how far it will go, how far this community will take it. If you were too stupid to figure it out during the post made in the other prior 6 or 7 pages, consider this the official glove slap of the REAL Turbografx and Pc-Engine community to you, you stupid worthless cunt.

Concerning any sales matters here: BUYER BEWARE. Seller has presented clearly questionable behavior, and is selling what appears to be illegal goods, as he has as of yet to present a legal agreement between himself and the original copyright owners.

I don't know who runs Cafe Press, and could care less since I have no beef with them, as they have not come here swinging edicks and threatening lawsuits after being exposed for being idiots. Cafe Press  is not in question here, this is your sales thread, and your activity is what is in question.

It's not opinion, it's fact, something as of which you seem to struggle with. Also, its ironic youd state that we are entitled to our opinion after all of this mess you have done. You back tracking now little bitch?

Bottom line is this, shirts are done, Chris Runyon is no longer a part of the TurboGrafX Facebook group,  all bans and rules have been removed.  There was a lot going on behind the scenes that you guys did not see.  So I am being unfairly judged for that personally.  I apologized for everything irrational that I have said.  So on that note this thread can be deleted.  I wasn't making a HUGE profit off of these shirts,  I make 30k a year in the IT field.  I was just trying to make something nice for the community.  The shirts are gone so no need to constantly preach about how "shitty" they are.  The ones I have for myself are really nice, so I know that's not true.

You should contact the legal copyright/trademark owners now and inform them of the profits you made off the sales. Legally, you are obligated to do so, as you owe them that money. and also, you currently still have said items listed for sale on your website:

http://www.videogameattic.com/tg16shirts.html

As of now it still seems you are illegally profiting off others works/copyright/trademarked materials.

Are you really this stupid?  The logos were trademarked, and trademarks only expire when not used officially for years.  Since TG-16 games are currently legally downloadable on various platforms, the trademark is still in effect and your t-shirts are in violation of trademark law.

Also, you claiming to be the "official" fan group is copyright infringement.  Fair Use would normally allow you to use the TurboGrafx name and various logos for such purposes, but not when you fraudulently claim to be officially sanctioned by the copyright holder.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me that his facebook page needed to be screen capped to preserve evidence of his questionable activities, so they can be presented to the proper rights holders if need be. His t-shit sales website has also been fully archived just in case he tries to deny what he has done later down the road.

As of now you need to remove both the official seal from your Facebook page Aaron, along with any reference to you being official, and you need to close down this webpage or start listing on it only items that you legally have the right to sell:
http://www.videogameattic.com/tg16shirts.html
And pertaining to any and all sales you have made with others works, you need to contact them asap and inform them of what you did and come to an agreement so you can reimburse them for use of their materials.

These babies are whining because I banned them from our Facebook group for acting the same way they are acting now.  I had every right to ban them.  Go into any facebook group and bash the moderator and you're going to get banned.  I reported these people to the moderator and I hope they get banned.  They have no right to hurt these T-Shirt sales, they are high quality and are well priced.

Man, what an ass you have turned out to be.  I actually seen what was going on with the FB group, and never piped in.  It was clear in the beginning that you and your so called know it all mod were in the wrong, and did not like being told so, so you waved the ban hammer like some power hungry internet mongrel.  It's sad really, because this community could have went a LONG way in helping your FB group and T-Shirt sales.  What a waste, and all because of blind pride.  You actually banned some of the better PCE peeps, that could have actually brought some knowledge to your group.

Actually, this may not be true.  Not defending making money off of the trademark, but the US Trademark office has declared the TG16 trademark as dead as of 1998/1999.

http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4808:3z7m4x.2.1

It's possible that (for example) Nintendo is aware of the death of this trademark, which allows them to use it on the Virtual Console menu.  As I understand it, it's not clear if NEC still owns the trademark, as the division of NEC it belonged to no longer exists.  They'd have to re-register it, and I'm not sure they have any interest, as the games themselves all went to Hudson Soft.  (In other words, there's no reason for NEC themselves to revisit TurboGrafx-16 from a monetary standpoint.)

Just because something is still in use for some legitimate reason, it doesn't necessarily follow that it's actually in use by the trademark holder.
To be honest, I'm just tossing this out there to further this conversation, as I would really like to know how one would even contact the TG16 trademark holder.

I believe the US allows for trademarking without registration, treating logos and the like as any other work of art (automatically protected).  I'd bet Hudson using the logo in recent years reasserted their rights to it, even if they didn't re-register.

That said, Konami gives no f*cks.  You could try contacting them to see what they say, but I doubt they'll expend the man hours to research who definitely owns it or draw up some sort of contract to allow its use.
