« on: January 19, 2014, 01:13:43 PM »
Saw this game mentioned on the latest ep. of game sack. It looks to be a fun beat um up, and the turbo doesn't have to many. So i wanted to check what you guys thought of this game

Look on the bright side, even if Mad Stalker is kind of average, it's still probably better than Genocide or Browning...

As well as Dragon Arm which'll be using the same engine as GA 2.0.

I like Mad Stalker. Big and well animated sprites, lots of moves, fun to play,  but a little repetitive because of a lack of variety among the enemies.
Good beat em all (in my opinion): Downtown Nekketsu Monogatori, Vigilante, Kaze Kiri ... Ane San is cool but either you like it or hate it.

Is the gameplay better on X68000?  I know that the X68000 version has parallax scrolling while the TCD version does not, unfortunately, but did they downgrade the gameplay too?  The TCD version is alright, but I don't know how it plays on other platforms.
