Curious about if any of you (more of you?) are interested in bringing a console, some controllers or even possibly a game to play for the event.  The TurboFest area should be more similar to what we've held in the past at VGS and OcTurboFest.  Anyone that brings stuff is likely to be getting some goodies for helping out.  :) Let us know.

Things we're still looking for:

3   Turbografx-16
   ├
   ├ TG-16 Controller
   ├ TG-16 Controller
4   Supergrafx console
   ├
   ├ SGFX Controller

5   PC-FX Console

   ├ PC-FX Controller
6   PC Engine +CD addon

   ├ PCE/Duo Controller
   ├ PCE/Duo Controller
7   Turbografx+CD

I still plan to bring a Shuttle and pad. I have a DuoTap, 2x 6-button and 4 other assorted pads if you need them. I plan to bring some Hu's of my choice (VICTORY RUN!!!)

I'll be bringing an pce ifu setup, a turbo duo, a turbo express (video out & external controller port).  All these will have a component video output.

I have a region modded US Duo and 2 or 3 controllers (+tap) I can bring along with a region modded TG/CD setup with a controller and turbostick (+tap).  I usually travel with my 3.5" turboexpress w/ tv out (for US games) and briefcase unit (for pce games) but would be happy to bring whatever. :)

If you want to bring the Turbo CD setup then by all means please do. :) ...my car is going to be seriously loaded down even without that beast.

After talking with JD a bit more on the subject of 'Turbo Fest', it sounds like this year's MGC event will be a lot more like our VGS and OcTurboFest gatherings.  We can pretty much just change out whatever games we want to use whenever and play whatever we want.

That goes along with game tournaments or challenge high score things.  Any requests/ideas for some competitive games to play?

I always suggest Sonic Spike tournaments, but that's just because I think the game is really fun.  :)

Hey folks,

Sorry about not stopping by earlier!

Yes, the idea is that the Turbo Fest can be placed in its own hotel room this year - much like how we had the MLGA and Nippon Import Rooms last year - where you can fit at most 8 consoles with TVs and basically run whatever you want in the room so long as it isn't like Steam-Heart's or something pornographic.  You can also hold a party in the room Friday/Saturday night if you like.

The trick is that since the show is a two-day event, we need people that can bring TVs and game systems that will either be there both days, or enough people that come just Saturday and just Sunday to fill things out.  We also need someone to be in the room at all times... Not just to keep an eye on your stuff, but also because we do get people that come in and have questions about the game systems at the show.  If that's possible, then I'll set aside a room for you guys to run the Turbo Fest.  I will need to know pretty soon if there is enough interest, though.

Let me know who is bringing what, and I'll see about getting you guys in on some of the museum perks depending on participation.

Later.

Thanks to Rolf (Dan) I won't be bringing my Turbo CD this year but I will have plenty of room for games in my portable game case. I'll stuff it full of TurboGrafx/PC Engine/SuperGrafx goodness. :)

I think my PC-FX is already committed elsewhere in the show.  The Laseractive isnt though... ;)  Though I only have maybe four LDROM2 games for it.
