Hi new member here. This will be my first time attending the Midwest Gaming Classic. Will definitely be checking out the TurboFest room. Also looking to buy some PC Engine hardware and games!

Come by and introduce yourself!

I showed up about 15 minutes before the place opened and ran into Dragonmaster Dan walking outside.  We both pre ordered our tickets and were able to skip the huge line and walk right up to the entrance.

All the guys in the Turbofest room were awesome, as usual.  Lots to see and do there.  BlueBMW had a loaner prototype copy of Atlantean to try out, which was cool to see.  Plenty of other games and systems set up to try.  I bought a reproduction Magical Chase HuCard from Chop (Thanks man!).

The convention seemed a lot bigger than last year.  I think it has outgrown a the space at the hotel and they organizers may have to find a new venue for next year.  Lots of pinball games and arcade games to play.  Virtually every home console was there in some shape or form.  Plenty to see an do!

I only spent about $16.00 total on some cheap PSP games in the vendor hall.  Only about four vendors had PCE/TG16 games.  Most of the games on hand were bottom of the barrel crap and Japanese RPGs.  One of the vendors had some quality PCE, SNES, and Megadrive games but his prices were on par with ebay or higher.  Saw a few TG16 systems missing the rear cover going for $90.00 each at a few tables.   No rare USA turbo games at all.

It seems that complete boxed US SNES games are on the rise.  I was on the lookout for a complete Contra 3 and the cheapest I found one was $99.99.  Looks like I'll settle for a loose one.

Pretty self explanatory, TheThings. Chops made repro MC... thing of beauty, but has a chip soldered onto the top of the card

Weeeeeeird. How far does it stick out? Also, wait a second, I think I remember seeing that somewhere.

my hopes of eBay flipping were dashed.
