The TurboGrafX facebook group situation
« on: January 24, 2014, 05:03:12 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Ok, let me just say this.  There have been a lot of misunderstandings regarding the Facebook group regarding myself and another moderator.  I just want to let everyone know that the other moderator has volunteered to leave the group and I have pulled the plug on the banning / deleting posts rules.

Everyone who has been banned has been unblocked and are able to send me a request if you wish to be added.  If not, I understand.

I said some things that I shouldn't have said, mostly out of frustration from dealing with the issues and it had nothing to do with anyone personally.

If you would like to send me a PM on here or on Facebook to discuss anything.  Feel free.

Again I apologize for all of the issues and misunderstandings.

Thanks

Wow, went from being amazingly thin-skinned, pulling out the "I got a lawyer" card to get posts deleted, standing by excessive, power mad moderating, etc. to a COMPLETE reversal... Still wouldn't buy your shitty shirts, but whatever. Good show though, that sure was something you don't see every day.

I can see how it would look like that to everyone in public view but there was a lot going on behind the scenes, and the "shitty T-Shirts" that I'm sure you've never seen or looked at are actually pretty nice.  However, they are no longer in production.  I wasn't making any money off of them and I was just trying to do something nice for the PC Engine community.

I never did anything to you NightWolve and as a matter of fact I am still a huge fan of yours and supported your Ys PC translations.

Runyon left? Shocking.  I tried telling you he was a bad time and ran your group into the ground.  I suggest staying here to see the real community.  That Runyon singlehandedly tried to take on.  He threw you under the bus too.  I'd be pissed at him not us.

I'd like to explain more Roy but I just don't feel it's right for a public forum.

I think if we all just realize that we're all adults here with opinions, ideas and thoughts we can continue to build this little NEC community.  You're not going to be able to force people to understand you so just explaining/defend yourself and allowing others to explain/defend themselves helps everyone to grow. No name calling, deleting of words and especially no banning is needed for such small difference of opinions...

I've always been a firm believer that if you stick around here, just let time heal the wounds of these forum arguments, you can still be a valued part of our community.  I've seen members come in here and get into a fight right away to becoming "One of the guys" a few months later.  The pcfx forums are generally an easy going place for everyone to enjoy themselves.  :)

Ok, maybe you all can forgive me someday but I assure you this was all a huge mess of misunderstandings.

I'm with Sparks: go back to facebook.  We don't need your particular brand of asshat, and there is NO misunderstanding of your threats and insults.

Still wouldn't buy your shitty shirts, but whatever.

Heh, I love it.

f*ck this guy. About the same time frame he is doing this thread as a form of damage control he is sending people private messages telling them to "GO f*ck YOURSELF". And seriously, for f*cks sake already Aaron L, stop spamming this forum with multiple threads in the sales area. You have one thread already, its all you need. With 8 pages going no one will miss anything you want to post on it idiot.

Yeah dude...kinda should have pulled this out of your hat, before posting some of the other things here, or PMing people hateful mess.  I could be wrong, but looks like the bridge has been burned.  I have seen people make a comeback, but it hasn't been often.

Considering what you posted in the other thread, Aaron, this apology here is a big joke.  You're a tool and your bootleg shirts are awful.

BTW calling your Facebook group "official" is despicable.  Just another joker trying to make a fast buck by misleading people.  I'm sure you'll be back selling your wack shirts in no time.
I'm not sorry about this, as I'm not sorry about ANY attack by the goverrats.

I don't think many people wake up and say "today is the day that i, of sound mind and intent, will go piss off a hornet's nest of peers with common interests".

Listen, meatsack, robots like me do it all the time.  Care to try your luck at the Wheel of Robots?

And while there is little excuse for much of what was said/done, there may be reasons that would make it seem a bit less unforgivable.

Maybe, but it's hard to accept an apology that blames it all on our misunderstanding and not knowing the whole story.  It's like a politician's apology: "I'm sorry you're offended."
