Damn, I am sorry to hear about the bad luck.

As the guy that traded you the CD-unit I hope you were able to A.) get your value back when selling it and B.) you don't give up entirely.

Perhaps just start easy and get an unmodified PCE or TG16...  get your feet wet, then get crazy.

Man that's just mean lol. On the other hand there are those here that can fix it. There prices are quite reasonable, and I've even seen some of them donate their services just to save a unit and a fan. This is an awesome group of folks, a brotherhood if you will. Don't give up!!!

LOL… It wasn't meant to be mean.  It's my way of dealing with the pain from killing my beloved TG.  Mine was unrepairable.

roger that. this is my third time trying the turbo out, and each time its the flaky hardware that scares me away. i love the games, just the finicky hardware usually takes all the joy out of playing the system for me.

Don't blame your lack of skills on "flaky/finicky" hardware.
