Tats got it! Looks like this pic was a prank from day one. Xexex never had a console port till psp and the cd in the pic is just the music cd.

I spotted the OST CD in no time, since I just held one in my pranks the other day

also I never heard, that PCE Xexex made it anywhere near to a proto status, since the development team gave up on it quit quickly due to some difficulties.

Looks like there's one of the new-fangled vertical keyboards beside the PCE mouse. NEC probably figured severe carpal tunnel should be enjoyed by all, not just computer geeks.
