It's not about the totality of the 16-bit console wars. Guys are letting your fanboyism get the best of you.
Then it's worthless. Sega and Nintendo didn't compete in a vacuum, so ignoring the PCE opening the door for competition against Nintendo (and probably ignoring Sega's lackluster performance in Japan) means this film will give one sided answers and draw flawed conclusions. It's like making a documentary about WWII and only looking at the US/UK battles against Germany/Japan and leaving out the Russians.
Besides, Rudin stretches the truth for entertainment value. This might end up being good as a
story (I think Rogan is pretty funny), but I doubt it'll be useful for anything other than a laugh.
