Not a game that is usually played for score, but figured what the hell.  So, here it is.  It's the official Bomberman 1 high score thread.

I'll throw my score in here from the game of the week here is a paste of my post

Made it to 7-8 without dieing, died a few times on the boss.
then had some trouble on level 8, made it to 8-5 before hitting my first continue.


..now to see if i can take it down with the supplied continues 
edit: nope made it to 8.7 ..those damn gold coins kept getting me as I was starting out a stage.  serenity now

I don't know... I think this is a great score challenge. Of course if you are extremely lucky you can rack up the points by blowing up all the bricks before finding the exit.

Hell yeah Digi.k!  Nice score.  I need some time to finally sit down and play this again.  It is so relaxing to me sitting down and playing this game.  Not any of the others, just this one for some reason.  Maybe nostalgia.
