A brand new Magic Engine has just been released... to be more specific, Magic Engine 0.99 beta 1! :-)

Cool....thanks Brasilpce.  I just downloaded it.  I don't play Magic Engine that much since I have a TG-16, TE and DUO, but when I'm not at home I don't leave home without it :P  I mostly use the ME for testing home-brew games, but that is a completely different subject.... Aaron Nanto

Yeah... sadly, the announced long-awaited "features" (mainly the CD audio volume bugfixes) still don't work in this release. Apart from the support of Mugen Senshi Valis, there is nothing new in this beta. Let's hope for the best next time...

I do agree with you, Kaminari. In fact, it would be really nice to have more changes on ME 0.99b1. But, to be honest, I waited for so long to play Valis I that this simple change was more than enough for me!

I was very impressed with Magic Engine, I was using it to rip sprites from Dracula X.

Very cool indeed.
