In the US, and from the perspective of the present day, it could be that Air Zonk is the single most iconic HuCARD game. That how I imagine it, at least. Personally, if I were ever to show this system to someone who had never seen it before, I just might start with this game.

I'm pretty sure a lot of you who played the Turbo in its heyday hold Air Zonk in high nostalgic regard. Given the occasion, why not tell us some of your memories of this game?

In addition to playing it, of course. And giving us your high score!

-Please don't submit games that are too expensive. Below $50 is best. Above $100 won't work.

Oh man, this game is the bee's knees! (do people still say that? hmm..)

I can make it to the end, but can't quite seal the deal. Shall have to give it some goes this week, mm-hmm, what-what, yes indeed.

I waited for years to find one of these at a good price eventually getting an import version.............Which sadly no longer works so if anyone has a nice cheap one let me know

The first 4 stages are relatively easy, but the 5th level throws a curveball especially with a pretty tough final boss. Definitely one of my favourite shooties!

Oh, and the highest score I managed to get is 9782,8970 on Spicy mode, 1CC. This was on the Japanese version and if I remember correctly the final boss gives 90.000.000 score in that version and 10.000.000 score in the US version.

Cool. I'll be putting this on when I get back from work...score will probably be pathetic though. This really is an iconic PCE/TG-16 game and marked the reboot of the TG-16 in the US. Bonk was old hat to the marketers when Zonk turned up.

I absolutely love this game !! Haven't beaten it yet but I will be getting on it asap to see how good my Air Zonk skills are. I'll post up on here my top score. This is the most expensive game I've purchased complete in it's original box to date. Bought it back in 2001 at GameDude of North Hollywood CA for a whole 40 dollars !!!

I'll be playing this one later today after work and school. I love this game. It was one of the reasons i wanted to get into turbo in the first place.

Played for a bit tonight. Could not beat it tonight. got all the way to level 5. Its so intense. Heres my current top score.

This. Air Zonk is a great shooter; the visuals are cartoonishly vibrant and the gameplay is addictive. BUT... I never could beat the final boss.

made it to the second to last boss on Stage 5 on Spicy today (PCE).  i probably could've made it to king drool, but the last stage is loooong.  starting all the way from the beginning after continue is a PITA.  i think best score was 90,XXXX.  Could be wrong, wasnt paying too much attention.
