Hey guys, bad news, it's gonna be $170 for each of us if we want the shell, and we do, because that thing is gonna be too precious to leave lying around without plastic protection... I don't think you could use some old SNES cart either if you had one.

But FYI, I just PM'ed krikzz on Youtube and asked him if he'd be willing to negotiate a deal. I offered $1,600 with plastic shells, so we'll see if he bites... Thus, that'd be $160 for each of us. I'll let ya know if I get a response.

Still haven't heard from him on any deal. Yesterday I used his http://shop.retrogate.com/contactus.sc form to try there, but that mailer script failed because it didn't like my yahoo.com email account. However, the mailer daemon failure notice showed me his actual gmail account, so I mailed to that directly, and also retried his form using my gmail account. If he never responds, I'll be getting a sense that he just likes to stick behind his online pricing, and a take-it-or-leave-it approach. But I'll wait as he may just not have logged in to his Youtube account to have seen the original message from last week.
