Hope the move went smooth.

My wife was really wanting to play a translated Sailor Moon RPG so we went half on a SD2SNES a while back. They ship out of Germany so expect a good while for it to ship out to ya. Good luck with the group buy guys. You too on your move, Beemer.

Does this cart offer any significant advantages over the PowerPak, other than being able to play CX4 games (MM X2 and X3 are the only ones I know of) and not pretending to have Game Genie support that doesn't actually work?

Not knocking it as I love my two other Everdrives, just trying to see if I could justify an upgrade, but it doesn't look it.

It's supposed to play any SNES game that had added chips like Pilotwings. What I've heard is that it's fully compatible with the exception of Super FX games. They are still working on the firmware. I believe the flash cart options are much expanded over the regular Everdrive.

I found this list with a quick Google search. No SA-1 games and no SuperFX games. So, it will play Megaman X2 and X3 which the Powerpak does not, but still not Starfox, Yoshi's Island, or Super Mario RPG.

Yeah, that's too bad about Super Mario RPG.

Yeah, that's too bad about Super Mario RPG.

The good news is that they are continually working on updating the firmware. One day they'll have support for those games.

Hm, yeah, I guess it's possible as with an emulator. He has to try to eventually emulate the chips that he didn't install on the PCB and what not.

If anyone needs help setting up their SD cards I will post a checklist of what you'll need. It's a little more complicated than your typical flashcart. One thing I will mention here is do not use the latest firmware. Use version 0.1.4a
