Yeah game owns, very colorful, awesome backrounds and badies, hooked up the disobey(segacd) last night and almost made the last boss then just now I passed 1cc on normal.

I pretended I was playing the obey version if that counts.

In the segacd version the shopkeeper says "May I help you?" and "Thank you." in a sexy voice.
segacd she is wearing red lipstick, does she have red lips in winds of thunder also?

I haven't played the Sega CD version in a while, but I seem to remember it being a lot easier than the Turbo one. Or maybe my reflexes were just better back then :-k

It's easier for sure.

Just checked it out and yeah normal mode on sega cd is like a cakewalk compared to obey version. obey just punishes you when you get hit and I could only get to the end of the 4th level lol -need to practice more. emulator controls feel delayed as usual. turbo version feel all around better even emulated. gonna go try to get farther now

PCE thunder is easy, so if the SegaCD version is even easier, then that is crazy. Seriously.

OPEN REQUEST:
But, here is what I REALLY NEED: if you have an original Sega-CD disc, I would like a high quality .mp3 rip of the soundtrack. I would like to make it available to anyone who wants to compare the soundtracks (Sega vs PCE)

PM me, thanks in advance.

pm sent  :)

PCE thunder is easy

:-k I'm wondering why there are no final score shots yet or mention of beating it?  :P
joking aside, I can't play this emulated :x .. I'll have to try hard mode on sega cd and accept that I can't obey in this thread.
..now if you'll excuse me...

Why, for the love of god is there even mention of feka in this thread?  For a game that is this good there should be no mention of it.  A high score section at the beginning would be nice, but there really is no time to snap a pic if you 1cc this game.  Only way really is to record it on video.

I'm surprised that no one said yet that the Sega CD version of Lords of Thunder DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE to the PCE one.

Got my copy of Winds of Thunder just in time for the weekend and GOTW. :D  I did a quick play through and surprisingly I still have the game/bosses memorized after some years.  Awesome game and I'm definitely gonna give it more play time this weekend.

Anyone know if there's a difference in difficulty or scoring compared to the US version, Lords of Thunder?

I was able to easily snap a pic at the end by pausing.
1cc on normal.

The shopkeeper has voice samples in Winds of Thunder, but not Turbo Lords of Thunder.

The red lips are actually just a color limitation compromise. Usually in Manga/Anime, lipstick is worn by wicked characters.
