Dang I don't have this one yet, bid on a few of them in the past year but they always went too pricey. My duo is also decapped but not recapped yet  :(
There is some hope for me, I have the sega cd version, though my cd tray is goofy and needs some love to get games to load.

:-k starts to think about emulation..maybe if it wasn't a shooter.
Is it just me or do all pc controllers have a delay. I tested all my controllers a while back with blazing lazers and all of them lag so much I couldn't stand playing and went back to the real hardware. I tried xbox 360 usb and also usb adapters for genesis, saturn, cube etc is it the emulator or what, anyone else have this problem?
(reason why I like to emulate sometimes is big screen, stereo system and couch as apposed to 27 crt and office chair plus having to hook up the system, I know you cant beat real hardware though and will figure out a better set up some day  )

Might be time to unwrap my copy I picked up like 2 years ago!  It's high on my video game bucket list but I have only played through the first level (or one of them, it's selectable, isn't it), I know.. for shame, right?  Got it for a good price though, $30 bucks new.

I just absolutely *love* the voice of the shopkeeper babe in Winds of Thunder. I don't understand Japanese, so I like to believe she's telling me how handsome I look and how she looks forward to me coming back to her place to give her more backrubs and foot massages.

Lords/Winds of Thunder wonderfully excels in every category. There isn't a single aspect of the game where it dips to simply "good". From start to finish, you will hear, see, feel, and take part in utter excellence.

My past-life would've surely led to our demise, and I had left it not a moment too soon. Our escape, though dangerous, had gone well. The train ride, sunlight, and passing snow-covered pine trees came together in a flickering show of our bright, new future together. Her head rested on my shoulder as she soundly slept to the gentle rocking of the passenger car. We felt freedom. We felt peace.

I just started playing it, my god is it hard. I beat the first level, I'll get there lots of memorization for sure.

To me, this game's masterstroke is the close range melee attack, which elevates the shmuppy goodness to a whole other level of badassery.

Why, hello giant sandworm beetle monster... I could shoot you with my flaming cannon of burning death, but instead please accept this SLASH IN THE @#$% FACE, GRAHHHHHH!

So metal.
