spent a few more hours customizing bodhi today got a conky tweaked and made a desktop to go with the theme made a short vid (screencap) showing off the desktop

Good googly moogly that's hot.  I'm running lunbuntu on my netbook, but think I'll try Bodhi on my old P4 (if it'll run on that).  That's the machine I use more anyway (my wife uses the netbook so lubuntu is perfect since it's so close to XP).

yeah I wouldn't replace lubuntu with it untill you try it out on a beater pc or something, whats neat is how low on resources e17 is and it has all the eye candy. defo worth checking out and fun to play with.

I went back to my xubuntu pc and will likely keep using it for my daily driver. its just too good/perfect for me at least.
I just don't like the menu system on bodhi and there are a few other minor things that bother me too much. but I kept it on my other pc and will play around with it some more for fun.

I'm currently having a lot of fun playing with conky and will show off some shots soon.

Back in 2006 or so I had a dedicated Xubuntu computer and I loved it.  It was low on resources and stable and had the Ubuntu support forums available for when I tinkered with something too much and broke it (which happened from time to time). Xubuntu is such a great OS.
