This would need to be heated to at least 190C for it to reflow, without melting the plastic...
If this now is the problem to begin with.
Most non working are just oxide and corrosion on the gold connectors, the ones that does work after a really hefty cleaning is plainly electrostatically damaged.
Second to that most hueys does not have solder of any kind in them (those few with batteries does), as there are no components inside to be soldered, just copper with a unusual thick layer of gold (gold plating) leading to the chip which is bonded, and the bonding wire is about 0.015mm in diameter for each leg, and as it's gold ultrasonic bonding can't be made, it has to be heated when originally manufactured like welded and gold needs around 1050C to melt.
Voltage and current spikes can also electronically damaged them.
Horror story, if a 7805 in a PCE, TG16 or DUO burns in the wrong way, making in short too out, 9-10v will be passed threw and burn nearly every circuit in the system and hueys circuit, and it could do it in a blink of an eye, and you would not even understand it, testing out every game you have until you think, ok this system is dead, but so would your games....
