I forgot to comment on this, since this seller is an absolute ass! The description on his auction is minimal, but he doesn't mention that he's selling CDR's with fake covers printed out from PCECP.com !!!

I wonder how many people will now buy this CD-Rs from him, and think they came from pcecp.com -- that would explain the rash of "How much is this game?" emails that I have been getting from the PCECP feedback form.

The more folks who report these things to eBay, the more likely they are to get this guy pulled.  I will fully admid it is not highly likely, but if enough complain, it will happen.

Maybe we just need a daily post of auction numbers of the slimeballs so that we can all report them

Its funny because I had an account suspended for good for selling a GB multi cart, yet guys like this get away with selling CDRs over and over just becuase it's not blatantly stated that it's a CDR.

Well I'm glad you got your refund Keranu because when I asked for one this is the response I got from him:

"what you need to do is go to tzd.com and order the instruction booklet to that game and move on. First off, I've spent 14 years finding that game, thats hard it is to get this game. The reason I am saying this because i dont have a good copy of the game, but I wanted the game so much I said at least i got it. I know you cant say that it dosent work because its been tested on an original turbo grafx-16 cd game console and 2 turbo duo's. I just dont understand you guys when they made this game it cost hudson soft 65 cents a copy to make this game. How many bootleg cd's and movies you have made or brought? I bet you you download and burn music everyday. Enjoy the game because you will NEVER get the real thing and I am 99.9% sure of that. Remember its 2006, this game came out in 1993 you think they are still making this game? COMON be happy that you got the game. I sure was"

I just can't believe the nerve of this a$$hole.

God, what an a$$hole. Just make sure you get a refund from him and then I say we report him on eBay for selling pirated games, the messge you posted contains the proof for it.

That bastard got that idea from ME because I said in one of my messages that if his auction at least included the real game and case, I would buy a instruction manual from TZD.com.

I don't think I'm going to get a refund, when I asked again here's the response I got even when I offered to return his pos cd-r to him:

"I found 2 copys of bonk 3 on ebay vintage games hu card 199 cd 224.95 U got to be stupid Or just dumb which one? and I dont want that back I have one already. "

Going to file a "item not received not as described" as soon as I can, it says between 10-60 days after the listing so that'll be in 5 days or so.

MERRIMAN! How did you pay? Did you take the minimum steps I outlined in my prior post?

I would reply to the seller, but be firm and to the point: "I don't want to buy a pirated game from you, period. You can't persuade me to change my mind. I want a refund immediately, since your auction was intentionally misleading."

I have to say, this seller is missing a chromosome or two. And that's putting it nicely :).

I payed via paypal and I told him twice that I wanted a immediate refund via paypal.  I said I didn't want a bootleg game and that I wanted the refund, and that I'd even ship it back to him.  The two responses I posted are what I got in response to these two requests.

I just finally read thru this entire thread, and all I can think about is how evil ebay has become.

Merriman, I really hope you get your refund.

Paypal is much worse than Ebay themselves. They froze my account for NO reason. In other words: they stole my money and ruined my business. I had unpaid auctions and now I'm getting unpaid item strikes against my account. I've contacted their support again and again but they're just sending me brainless replies that doesn't answer anything.

It's an interesting site your linking Seldane. I'll have to read it all when I have more time. I just want to say that I've never had trouble with paypal in the past. However, after skim reading through paypalsucks, I'm starting to have second opinions.

Pay Pal used to piss me off so much since they would always ask for insane various verification and freeze your account for so long if you did anything incorrect. Ever since I got my own Pay Pal account since two months ago, I haven't had any problems with it... yet. Thanks for the site, I'll check it out.

Well I'm still in the middle of the paypal dispute and w/e but hopefully I'll get my money back.  However in the meantime I did pick up a real copy of Bonk 3 CD for $140 shipped :D :
