Lol at their failed illustrations too. They placed a Miner 2049er screenshot to complain about the Cassette Vision, while it is in fact for the SUPER CASSETTE VISION. While one has atari 2600 like graphics the Super has almost NES graphics so yeah it was pretty retarded to confuse screenshots like that.

There is an endless supply of informative articles being pumped out by retro collectors on sites popular among people who either know games by collectibleness or popular appeal (SMB3, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid and other super "obscure" games). Instead of researching and fact checking their guides on subjects they know very little of, they just make stuff up, state things they think they once heard as fact and based on all of that, jump to far fetched conclusions. These authors are the ones who prove to the internet their hardcoreness by relentlessly spamming the super secter fact that the PCE is actually only an 8-bit machine.

i noticed that too, which is such a glaring mistake that it almost feels purposeful.

the fact that supergrafx and vectrex are on this list , but r-zone, cd-i, and xavix are not is really annoying.

Well the system itself is very cool, but I can understand how it made the list. How pissed would you be if you shelled out hundreds of dollars (thousands of yen) to buy new hardware, and they only release 5 games for it. What a crock of shit! I would've been bummed by it being abandoned so quickly, but at least the few games it does have are pretty good and it's backwards compatible.  Contrast that with CD-i (lots of titles but almost nothing worth playing), the R-Zone (no redeeming qualities whatsoever), or the Nuon (similarly small library but no b.c. to fall back on) and you'll see why the SGX doesn't really belong on the list.  In other words: it's not great but there are many other systems that are far more 'retarded'.

I don't know about that many lol.... You gotta think some of the systems like cd-i weren't strictly gaming systems. They were meant for interactive books, movies, graphical music CDs etc. They weren't really gaming consoles in a strict sense

in the 80s/90s there were dozens of games systems thrown onto the market that failed incredibly and tehrefore never made any appearance on a noticable level.

not really like to quote wiki, but there is quite a good overview of what has been released over decades. I bet my pants, that you would find dozens of systems that are way more retarded than the super grafx was!
