What are your top 5 shoot 'em up games for the TG-16/PC Engine?

I haven't played many shmups, but I know my absolute favorite is Air Zonk. It has it all. Blaxing Lazers is a great one too, but it is a bit long for my tastes.

Wow nice! Must be great to revel in all the NEC. Now that I know about it, maybe next year I can make the trip Have always wanted to spend more time in Bear town.
As for Tatsujin, I wish my old man reflexes could handle any sort of competition.

As for Tatsujin, if your reflexes can at least get you to the end of level 1, then you're in the running for 1st place.

LOL I got to the end of L1 last night but had run out of time to play. October sounds very doable, I'll keep a look out for the announcement.

I got a copy of Download 2 on the way since there's a few people here with it on their top 5 list.  I like the 1st Download a lot so I can't wait to check out the 2nd one.
