Legendary Axe one of the first TG games that sold me on the system, because there's nothing like a kickass platformer to pass the time. Furthermore, it's about a guy with an axe walking around slaughtering hordes of foes to get his girlfriend back. Hell, I'm game for that!
The graphics are nice and clean with bright colors and detail for all. I particularly like the waterfall stage with the timbers and stones masking the cascading waters behind.
Ah yeah, good stuff. One more thing; and this is really,
really important. Upon finishing off Jagu, Gogan frees Flare, who affectionately gives him a hug and kiss. Gogan then points to lands in the distance as if to say, "The world is ours, babe!"
And then, he points to the closing credits as if to say, "Here are the people responsible for my awesomeness."
