WTB: TG16 and Duo manuals
« on: May 29, 2014, 06:43:22 PM »
With the prices of new games being greatly out of my reach, I thought I would try to make what I own look better on the shelf.  It is still a thrill when I find a manual I am missing, I usually get them from $6-$8.  I do not know if these are the manuals everyone is missing, so don't laugh too hard:

Turbografx-16
1.  Air Zonk
2.  Cadash
3.  Chase HQ
4.  Dead Moon
5.  Klax
6.  Neutopia II
7.  New Adventure Island
8.  Parasol Stars
9.  Raiden
10. Samurai-Ghost
11. Time Cruise

Duo
1.  Valis II
2. Gate of Thunder

EDIT:  Found a boxed, complete copy of Sonic Spike Volleyball.

EDIT:  I know where I can locally find a boxed, complete copy of Sonic Spike Volleyball.  I may just pick that up and keep the my current copy for trade.  I think the complete copy is $10.

Unfortunately, most of the games on your list are the later release games which didn't come with a jewel case, so their manuals have not stayed with the games as well, so the manuals are going to be a bit harder to find.  :(

As I was making my list and going through my collection, I thought 'gee, the similar thing here is these were all 1992 (ish) releases.'  I guess that explains why I have never really seen these for sale outside of listings that don't also have the game cards.  Oh well, at least this post made me inspired enough to pick up the last two local releases I remembered seeing at a (fairly) far away mom & pop used game store.

Thanks friend!  Also, in the process of creating this thread, I remembered two boxed games I should pick up and I did yesterday:  King of Casino and Super Spike Volleyball.  They have joined my very few other boxed games.  Wouldn't you know:  King of Casino is missing the manual and perhaps case.  This copy came with the card and box card holder (the clear piece that fits in the box).

That's odd.  The clear plastic HuCARD tray that you are speaking of only came in the latest released game with no jewel case.  King of Casino is one of the older released games which did come with a jewel case.

That said, I'm looking for 3 of the clear plastic trays for my CIB games which are missing them.  If you are willing to trade/sell it, then I'm quite interested. I believe that I have an extra King of Casino manual and jewel case that I could trade and probably the styrofoam insert piece as well.

You are right, king of the casino is an older release and it was packed with the Hucard case and styrofoam insert.
