This is one of my personal-favorite hucards. I love how dynamic and grand the whole adventure is. I love how it's dark without being depressing. I love how there are little splashes of color in things like items that probably wouldn't have been there if this had been a Genesis game. And of course, I think the side-scrolling action is just really damn good.

I personally prefer it to LA1, but now is a good time for all of you to voice your opinions.

By the way, we have a couple more games in the cue now, but feel free to keep the suggestions coming.

Rules:
-All members are allowed one submission. When there are no further submissions, we will have a reset and everyone will be able to submit another game.
-Each game may only be submitted once.
-If you wish to retract your submission, please do so at least two weeks before your game is due. Your next submission will go to the back of the cue.
-Please don't submit games that have a high language barrier or will take too long to complete (particularly RPGs).
-Please don't submit games that are too expensive. Below $50 is best. Above $100 won't work.

I can't compare because I haven't played the first but I do enjoy this one. Great music. Everything apart from the run button being for the bomb things.

I haven't played this game in a long while, hopefully I can make time to give  it a run through this week.  I always liked the dark atmosphere the game had.

I like this one better than the first mainly because the controls and hit range/detection feel better to me, also being able to jump on a bad guys head is nice for when you jump down blindly. The different weapons are nice with the different ranges aswell. The backgrounds seem more tiled and square compared to the first so I like the first better for level grafx.

played yesterday and got to the third boss but died, then today used the chain on him to beat him easy

Is it good?  I've only played it for a few minutes.  I'm a huge fan of LA1.  When I bought it again last year and that music started I was carried away to 1989 and nearly cried.  Love it.  And was damn hard to complete.

Well if you like LA1 a lot then you may like LA2 a little less, hard to say, they are both good.

Lost to the giant intestinal  parasite.  Good times to be had, I'd completely forgotten the joy of cutting zombies in half. or just knocking their heads off.

I prefer LA1 over LA2, but this is still an excellent platformer and definitely one of the best of the genre on the ole TG16.  The dark yet somehow vibrant graphics are a treat, and the play control is tight and precise.  The music is fitting too.  Pretty solid stuff.

Passed it. I got lost in the last picture I posted and went around in circle on the last stage. played it again and got close to the last boss but loss to many lives so was too weak. then this time just barely beat the last boss.

I think between the two, I prefer the second...because it feels more naked....not quite sure why.... Maybe the character is cuter as well.... think I'm gonna go ask him out real quick.... :3
