I think between the two, I prefer the second...because it feels more naked....not quite sure why.... Maybe the character is cuter as well.... think I'm gonna go ask him out real quick.... :3

thanks! it's my first time beating it (probably obvious) 
yeah this is one of the original games I had back in the day though I didn't play much back then.
I had a lot of fun with it, except for falling all the way down on stage 6 about ten times this week.
May see if i can get a higher score at some point.

That ave pad 3 is lookin nice will have to get one some day for games like this and air zonk hard mode etc

Legendary Axe II always looked so bad to me compared to LA1, the main character sprite just looks.. well, uncool for lack of a better term.  I know it's not really a true sequel, but I think the first game is just tons better and such a tight experience whereas the 2nd one feels a little amateurish.

Just throwin' out some unsolicited opinions man!  Why else do internet forums exist?   In all seriousness though, I do have a loosie of LAII sitting around and I might one day try to beat it.  Still think it looks like ass though!

I recall thinking that the dude in LA looked like a caveman while the dude in LA2 reminded me of Conan the Barbarian.  Nothing against cavemen; Bonk's an alright guy in my book, but Conan's a cool guy too.  I

I've debated a bunch on which game I enjoyed more, never came to a clear answer.  They're both good, if you haven't played much LA2 then you should do so and see what you've missed out on.
