His current stuff hasn't been as good lately because he has been putting all of his effort into the movie.  The stuff he has been making lately has been quick cheaper filler because he has been working hard on finishing up the movie.

The important thing to remember about AVGN is that above all, it's a comedy show.

That said, some of James's ranting recently has struck me as very forced. I mean, I know it's a character and all, but I could feel more genuine frustration from him before. In the Tiger handhelds episode, I don't think he actually cared all that much, but he probably felt it wouldn't be an AVGN episode if he didn't scream for a while.

Hopefully, the movie has a healthy mix of James the actor and James the gamer. As for the show, I personally think he could easily get away with going more low key at times.

This seemed appropriate here. Perhaps someone from this forum wrote in and asked the question?

Very good post seems more then relivent.

I dont like how they seem to bsck away from the answer as a maybe or a hard to quantify. Bla bla bla.

To me. Clearly game reviewers be them on youtube or other mass media markets such as hard core gaming or racketboy and alike it generates interest. It generates a sudden if not increasing interesting in cwrtian games and systems that collectors will gravitate towards.

Am I the only one to think that Pat the "NES Punk" is a 1st class tard? For me his show isn't interesting nor funny (in fact the humor feels very forced)...

I will say this...

he takes what I asume are pod cast that he recoreds with a reseller friend (whome I am unsure if I find intersting, honest, or just plain snobbish) and takes snipits and repost them on his youtube account as though these 2-4 minutes videos are NEW videos to generate additional content.

Even then I feel like what ever micro topic he redirects to his youtube account is more "here is a questiosn" ....

and then gives no real insight apart from stating the obvious .....

If you are going to post a video probing into topics (at times he has mentioned intersting ones) then do a full video on it.  Bring oposining view points, give more insight then questions, make it more engaging and meaty then a 2 minute blurb.

Damn tease!  I thought it'd be AVGN answering the question, which would've surely been more entertaining than watching two goobers hem and haw around like a couple politicians, giving no real answer one way or the other.

Y'all know that Pat is a member of this forum, right? Not that he's been around in years and years. But he remembers!
