I haven't OVERPAID for any TG stuff since I got my Everdrive.  ;-)   I still want to collect, but can sit back and be more patient to get it at "my price".

Nice. Haven't been collecting much of anything lately. Got to save up the moneys.

Stumbled across this great TG-16 lot on local online classified. Paid $100 CDN, and about $20 in gas to go pick it up.

The box is pretty rough, styrofoam is intact, but no manuals or inserts. Console is clean (has all hookups), turbo tap, extension, turbo booster plus and extra turbo pad.

Pile of (14) games, all CIC. Only Devil's Crush with some minor yellowing on the huCard.

Just wiped it all down, will test everything this evening.

Fills a number of holes in my collection.  Will have a title of two for a future Raffle on this site, and some to bring along to an upcoming Game Swap in hopes to find more Obey.

Not exactly in the wild .. as I don't get up early enough, or have enough energy for Yard/Garage Sales or Flea Markets (as most around here end up being retail shops running a booth on the weekend) .. but faired damn well lately just with online classified.

Very solid score!

I slog my way through garage sales twice a week and never find any Turbo goodness.  I do enjoy the hunt though. Also, what a great selection of games, the original owner had pretty good taste.

This week marks my PC Engine baptism of fire: I purchased one of Doujindance's modded Duo-R's yesterday and, today, I added Spriggan (first one). That game is also one of the main reasons I purchased the system (big Compile fan here).

Spriggan is awesome. If you're a Compile fan make sure to check out GunHed and Sylphia.

Thank you! I am a huge M.U.S.H.A. fan and I also quite enjoy Robo Aleste, Space Megaforce, Zanac Neo and Gun Nac, so I'm sure I'll be pleased. (Almost forgot Blazing Lazers which I have downloaded on the Wii along with the fantastic "Soldier" games.)

GunHed and Sylphia are already on my want list. 8)

Back in 2004, I purchased a brand new Turbo Duo from a Toronto seller who stumbled upon a small warehouse full of them. However, I ended up selling the system back shortly thereafter as I wasn't feeling like committing to a console with such inflated aftermarket prices. Yet, here I am now and the prices are 10 times as bad as they were back then. A financial analyst, I am not.

...and today was a new day and I got myself Nexzr (first release), including the spine and the registration card. So 2 down and 10 to go on my (initial) want list.

I don't know how much it goes for nowadays, but back in 2004 I got mine for around $500 (on ebay).

Just added Dracula X (w/ spine but no registration card).

Pretty good start I think: Spriggan, Nexzr and Rondo of Blood. I'll be set for a while. (My wallet is begging for mercy, too. )
