Here is my haul for the weekend. Picked everything here up as a bundle for 250. Not great, but not too bad either! The bulk of the price came from Soldier Blade and Super Star Soldier though. The owner of the store I get them from is long time friend, so I always get hooked up luckily. Now my problem is that I don't know what to play...  ](*,)

That's only an average of about $20 a game, which isn't too bad.

My TG16 purchases for this month are my entire collection!

I picked up a copy of Lords of Thunder US, but the sad thing is I didn't have a Duo yet...

So I picked up one around these parts to solve the "problem".

Can't wait to get it!

Man... I grabbed a bazillion titles from willis, as well as a few from amazon and eBay (including an N10 PAC tthat I'm only keeping long enough to fill with pubes and the crabs which infest them).

really looking forward to posting pics. :D

Were you the reason why nearly every single game he had for sale was "Pending?" lol

Added a turbo tap to my collection. Hooray! Now I need to work on getting 4 more turbo pads and an extension.

My TG-16 finds for September along with some quick thoughts:

Darkwing Duck - this particular copy kept coming up very frequently as a BIN auction with prices that kept dropping, but no one ever picked it up.  It finally dropped to a price that compared to recent PCFX for sale thread so I bought it.  The game is a bit average, but it is another late release I am happy to own and play.  It is not as bad as its reputation, certainly above Drop Off, I think.

Super Star Soldier - one of the first threads I started as a single digit new member was an inquiry into why this had gotten to be such an expensive title in just a few years since I was first building my TG-16 collection.  I now know it is expensive because it is very, very good (as good as Soldier Blade) and, well, older games on the whole have just gotten pricey.  Anyhow, as a game it is one of the top domestic releases, right up there with Blazing Lazers.  Great, great, great game.

Spriggan - one of my favorite shump developers is Compile.   I grew up with the SMS Power Strike, as a collector I have found the domestic releases on the NES, SNES, GENESIS, SEGA CD, and the TG-16 (of course).  The ones from Japan on CD are all on my radar, and Spriggan seems to be the most affordable to (re)start my small PCE-CD collection.  I finished the game the first time I played it, and it was a very pleasant romp.  What a game, classic 16-bit Compile here, very reminiscent of M.U.S.H.A. and Robo Aleste from the Sega systems.  I want...more Compile!

Bomberman - I, sadly, indulged in an ebay BIN for this one.  Sometimes it happens, but at least the game is worth the money I spent.  I can't say anything about this that is not known, it is one of the best multi-player party games on the system and a true landmark title.

My finds per month are only going to get smaller as my US TG-16 HuCard list is down to only a handful I think I can find for reasonable prices:  BoxyBoy, Champions Forever Boxing, Yo Bro, Ghost Manor, Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu and Bomberman '93 (leaving out the other 1993 games Tonma, Chase, & Bonk 3).  At this point I am also out of donor cases, so I'll be starting to cut up old music CD trays to make things work.

One of my next month's TG-16 finds is in the mail; more exciting stuff soon!
THANKS TO ALL PCEfx members who have helped fix my hardware and add to my games library!  What a thrill!

My first US CD-ROM pickups ever.  Very happy with these finds in Germany.  All 3 manuals was a pleasant surprise.  Just need Phase's Ys map pack and I'm all set.

I don't know about butted for all the stuff I got, assuming you mean ripped off, the dude was asking $1,100 for it all, but I talked him down to $600, which I felt very happy about.
I think the dude just scoped out eBay prices and didn't know what he had, the super system card 3, had the TurboGrafx 16 logo on the bottom left, yet it was still priced at $20, so I'm pretty f*cking happy to finally have some good luck for this system, finally up to about 50 games.

Since that lot is worth around half of what you paid, you're not nearly as f*cking happy as the lucky seller.

$600 doesn't sound too too bad, I suppose or something, maybe, idk.

Mental note .. sell my duplicates to neutopia6, he likes to overpay. $1100 ask meant the seller was nuts. $600 buy means the buyer is nuts ! I thought you might be trolling us, as to get a reaction to paying inflated prices. You must have a ton of money just burning a hole in your pocket. So glad I've been much better at sitting back and waiting for solid deals lately.

The price he paid isn't incredibly ridiculous, just not super great either.
