Heh, I snagged one of those quickshots back in the day because it was only $5 new, and I still feel ripped off.

Falcon 2.0?  Must be a rarez dev cart.

I'll admit I'm a sucker for accessories. The more third party and weird the more intrigued I am somehow. And the Turbo has so little!

Not sure why I thought Falcon had a 2.0 designation, the seller didn't list it like that...I must be thinking of the PC series!

Is that a box protector on it too?  I never really understood the new trend towards box protectors in the hobby.  Do they help warped paper boxes become more square again?

Then again, I also never understood keeping the shrinkwrap on a game after it's opened.  I always ripped and tossed.
THANKS TO ALL PCEfx members who have helped fix my hardware and add to my games library!  What a thrill!

yes its a box protector and it's basically to keep the boxes looking their best and protecting it from shelf wear, dust, moist and makes the box look better. its different than having a game sealed and i dont keep my games sealed but i put them in a box protector so they can stay in the mint shape that they are

Just did a BIN for $95 shipped for a TG16 in "great condition" with all cables and Air Zonk & R-Type.

Looking forward to those pics!

Better late than never:

To my great surprise there was a Case, Dock, CD ROM, and multitap in addition to the loose Air Zonk, R-Type, TG16 and controller. There was also a manual for Order of the Griffon, no game though. No system card or AC adapter, I offered to buy them or any TG stuff from the seller; no dice, it's all gone.

CD didn't spin at first, after greasing it's working, but with slow loads; it'll get there.

All of this for $95, who said there's no more deals on eBay?
(Everdrive is mine)

You know, that is a once in a lifetime ebay event to come out with that lot.  Congratulations, really!  It went to a good home, someone that will enjoy it, and a member of the forums to boot.  I almost want to start to put together one of the early CD units myself, if not for my TurboDuo making the pull to spend the money for one almost zero.  Still, the hardware collector in me wants one and the urge has not left yet.

I'm much more interested in hardware than software. For me, since I got an Everdrive I don't have as much interest in picking up hueys. At the moment I'm mostly going for CD games, which I could burn...

I've bought enough recently to satiate myself for a long time. When I get the itch, the next two systems I want to put together are a Core Grafx II with a Super CDROM2 and a "frankenbob": PAL TG, TG Dock, PCE CDROM.

That's a 6 foot TurboGrafx 16 sign - this was most likely hung inside a Software ETC or Babbages back in the day.

From the left: 2 TurboDuo extension cables, TurboGrafx secrets book, 3 JPN HuCards, Club Turbo/TurboGrafx Product Line/TurboGear pamphlets, a TG-16 and TG-CD manuals, over a dozen issues of TurboPlay/DuoWorld/TurboForce mags, and a poster from Shadow of the Beast.

Don't ask what I had to do to get these. ;)
