Mmm, that's a dang nice looking cd add-on.  How many pennies did it end up setting you back?

+1 on re-greasing the gears and sled.  What's on there now is probably dried up useless.

I don't normally collect cardboard. Really only made the exception lately for some Obey related items. Just something about the nostalgia for me, from either items I owned as a teenager, or wished I had owned (and visited at the local Radio Shack).

So I had to jump on this quickly .. not sure if the price was low, fair, or high.  But I wanted it, and I am comfortable with the price I paid (which I think too many people lately worry about what others think was a deal or not)

I got the bundle (and I needed Buster Bros., Sherlock Holmes, Neo Nectaris for my collection and the case/spine to complete my Exile) for $300 Canadian (so ~$250 USD) and it was a local pickup so no shipping (and given the size of this box was glad I didn't need to get shipping on it)

I will look into greasing the gears and sled before I test the unit.  Do you know of any links that could show me that process ? or should I ping Turbokon or Keith Courage to ask for how-to help ?  I am not someone who typically takes stuff apart these days.  So would be a complete newbie with this.

If anyone wants better pictures of box, or inserts .. let me know. I will do it for the community if there is indeed interest.

Scan the French CD-Rom system manual.

Not a bad deal at all, considering it's essentially brand new, no shipping, and you got some dang good games too.

HELL YESSSSSSSSS!

I will gladly make a page posting the pics/scans.

I actually have wanted to make a page showing all the boxes (ALL THE PANELS, for each box) for a long time. I guess the time to start is now.

:)

My pick-ups this month. I have to say, I'd never played Psychic Storm before but I was somewhat impressed. Somewhat mediocre but still managed to be fun. All the other games are a bit shit.

Dude, listen to the music in HYPER WARS.

Even if you don't like video game metal, it actually is quite friggin' good. :)

Worth the price of admission, I say.

I got around to listening to it today and man, it's great. It's super crazy guitar time and I like it, I think I'll rip it for teh youtubes since I couldn't seem to find it there when I wanted to listen to this at work. :\  Thanks for suggesting I listen to it esteban.

Golden Axe plays and looks like dookie, sadly. Whenever we ever hang out, we can play it and laugh at this travesty together. It's that bad.
