CPS Changer port >>>> *insert X68000 port here*
The Changer doesn't count. It's just the arcade board modified with a more home user friendly test mode and a crappy S-Video only commercial supergun.
Similar to the AES.
actually not. the AES is a real hardware and plays rom carts. both MVS and AES are basically the same tho.
the CPS changer is just an adaptor to play (slightly modified) CPS-boards on a general TV-set instead in an arcade cab.
CPS Changer roms are custom and unique versions for home use. AES and MVS are the same rom, even though there are home/arcade options (which really just function as dip switches). Neither has any original
titles, but the CPS Changer has an original home port of Street Fighter Zero, which was made on different hardware. The AES doesn't have anything original at all, ports or otherwise.
It doesn't matter what kind of hardware was or wasn't inside either console's carts (look at Nintendo carts). Either way, they each have consistent hardware and a console as a delivery method. It's not like MVS arcade games aren't real arcades because the carts are separate from the hardware. The CPS Changer console was cheaper than AES and the average CPS Changer game retailed for as much as the cheapest AES games.
