Ah OSMAN, what a great PCE game it is, and cleary the best port of all ^^

the home of your individual PC Engine collection!!
PCE Games coundown: 690/737 (47 to go or 93.6% clear)
PCE Shmups countdown: 111/111 (all clear!!)
Sega does what Nintendon't, but only NEC does better than both together!^^

CPC version features far worse graphics, including few colors and shades, low and often missing detail of completely redrawn artwork, choppy scrolling, sluggish movement of all of the much smaller sprites all inside of a windowed play area. A couple bgm tracks are recognizable, but there is no in-game music and sound effects are sparse. Intros, endings and between stage cinematics are missing.

SNES version has an extra layer of parallax on the fourth stage, music isn't as good as Genesis and PCE CD versions.

Genesis version has less variety of color, the best music and an extra stage.

PCE CD version looks the same as the SNES and Genesis versions, except that much of the parallax is missing, the CD soundtrack is the highest sound quality and it has all new cnemas throughout the game.

PC ENGINE <---------------------------------------------------------> SNES

GENESIS <---------------------------------------------------------> CPC

What an excellent start. Thanks for that one!

Okay I seriously can't find anything about this games ports apart from it being an arcade game that saw no success due to lack of marketing.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the SNES Genesis and PC-Engine ports?

More proof that everyone ignores the CPC. [-X

x68000 port >>>> *insert game title here*

CPS Changer port >>>> *insert X68000 port here*

The Changer doesn't count.  It's just the arcade board modified with a more home user friendly test mode and a crappy S-Video only commercial supergun.

Similar to the AES.

Ahhh

Still can't find diddly on either potential home ports to play this game.  Or even Jamma boards.  Sigh.  Guess emulation it is
