Bad TG16 Tailspin HuCards- corrupted graphics? List your issue here!

I have a Dead Moon card that is:

I feel your pain, Dead Moon was (is?) hard to find.  And fun.  And a shooter.
The intro to Dead Moon is one of the best:  atmospheric, dark, scary.

EDIT:  Did the card never boot, or did it just have bad graphics?  Just curious.

I asked the seller what it did and he said that he could only get a solid color screen.  That sounds like a dirty card or slot.

on the bright side, you guys can sell your Tailspin and Bonk 3 games for a premium on the eBays... just be sure to list them as "rare error cards".

lol If I still had my broken Bonk 3 HuCard, I'd probably raffle it. I returned it the store I bought it from, though.

Weird situation - that seller has not left anyone a feedback since 2011, yet he has 35 ratings from selling in the past month or two...  He hasn't left feedback on the "dead" MC, nor has the buyer...

A lot of folks are just too lazy to leave feedback.  I'm one of them, I'll do no feedbacks for a couple months if everything is fine, then just leave a bunch of them saying the same thing all at the same time.

Wow, that's really messed up! Are there any signs of damage to the card at all?  Mine looks well kept, no worse than most of the other cards I own.

Heck, my copy of Parasol Stars was chewed by a dog at both ends and it still plays perfectly.  Honestly, I need to replace that and raffle it off to folks...hey, it works!  If only a replacement card would not run an arm and a leg at auction.  Hopefully TailSpin will be a lot less expensive.

Are you going to raffle your copy of Tailspin off?  I noticed you tried to make it a 2nd place prize, but it was refused

I've only come across two bad HuCards so far since maybe my HuCard collection is pretty meager.  Both are CD system cards that don't work properly. 

One is a 3.0 Super CD card that someone forcefully pried open.  I think when it was pried open was the cause for one of the chips to break off.   Some SCD games load up glitched and usually freezes.  Surprisingly it still plays all regular CD games fine.





Second Hu is a Duo Arcade card that loads games but glitches and/or freezes on the few ACD games that I have tried.  The HuCard shows no sign of physical damage.  I posted these glitched pics of Sapphire a few years back...

Would not boot at all.

I tired cleaning the contacts with alcohol, an eraser and even tired sticking some paper under it as a wedge.  Nothing worked

To this day it has been my only non working HuCard.

Have you tried a holistic healing pyramid with power crystals? Or a prayer circle?

I did a rain dance but all that did was make my toilet leak.
