I don't mind it.  It's not at the top of my list of games to play, but I thought it was okay.

I haven't gave the game enough time, but it's one of those shooters were you rotate your shooting weapon, which is something I dig. If I recall, can't you only rotate in one direction in this game? If so, that's bogus. Also, for some reason, the first level reminds me a lot of a certain level in Kid Chamelon...

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

The game works much better with an Avenue Pad 3.  Although it wasn't made for the pad (came out before), the fact that it uses three buttons makes it much easier play with AvePad 3.

Basically, you have a ship that can rotate its guns all around.  So there's a rotate counter clockwise button (Run), shoot (II), and rotate clockwise (I).  I believe this is the same config as Forgotten Worlds.  Haven't played either game in a while, so I might be wrong.

Anyway, I thought Barunba was a decent game.  Nothing particularly amazing about it, but I liked being able to rotate the guns around.

IMO, the game is average and only worth playing thru an emulator.

Oh snap! Forgotten Worlds type rotary system? I definitely dig that!
EDIT: I just downloaded this game. It's pretty tight, I like how the stages scroll in many directions, it's almost like a little joyride.
