This is why eBay makes me sick

Check out this pirate's store. It's nothing but bootlegs! Notice he has 100% positive feedback. :x Reported all his emulator listings to eBay, but they usually don't give a damn about bootlegs.

So the toast that looks like Jesus is fine, but when bootleg games show up on eBay... oh no, that just makes you sick :)  Only teasing.

I hate it when people sell something as if it was their own work, even if it wasn't illegal.

Good god, that's disgusting. And what's with all the auctions have a $13.01 price?  :?

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

'Cause he's based in the UK. The prices are converted from UKP.

Oh, didn't notice that. Now his prices have changed and most are $12.90.

Here's another one. Possibly the same guy. Reported these as well although I noticed eBay hasn't done anything about the other ones. Figures. eBay is such shit, sad that they have a stranglehold on the online auction market here.

It really makes you wonder how we got by without online auction sites, doesn't it?

OK, I emailed the buyer in the first link and asked him not to pay $$$ for a pirated emulator. I told him about free / trial emulators for our beloved console.

We'll see what happens...

I got a response, believe it or not!

Paraphrasing, he said, "Man, I wish I had gotten this email before I bid. Thanks for the heads up, though."

He could be saying that just to placate me, or he could be sincere. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
