Feckā€¦ Is it a PNY thing?  That's the same card I bought.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

Go with a small card. You don't want a huge SD card. My ED has no trouble with a 2 GD Micro SD card. I suspect the trouble you're running into may involve the side of the card. The ED may not support larger SD cards. This is speculation, however.

I'm using mine without a cast for now... I should note, be careful when you insert and use this card. My Duo's card lock slider rubs right up against the SD card. If the ED isn't fully inserted and if you don't turn on your system carefully, there is a small risk you could damage the SD card.

I received mine but I have yet to inspect it/open the package.

ALSO: I am stoopid. Can folks share with me the cases they have been using for Turbo EverDrive? Our own jelloslug is designing one, correct?

And I thought I saved a link (Necro posted it, I think) to a storefront with a <$20 case...but I can't find it now.

Anyway, thank you TUCCI.

Still have to get a case myself. Not sure which one I'll get or what color. Null has the orange one which looks cool in the Duo, but I'm wondering what color of Blue they have, might look cool in the Duo R. Or maybe I'll just get Black or White. So much to think about with this little case.

Anyway, glad you got yours!

A 32 GB SD card should probably be formatted under FAT-32, not FAT... I also would consider finding a cheap 2 GB card for this rather than sacrificing an expensive 32 GB card. The ROM library is ~300 MB so that big of a card is way overkill.

EDIT: Oh OK, he fixed it with another card, size, etc.

I got mine!  It's a lot thicker than I thought it would be (that's what she said).  Packaged perfectly!  Thanks Joe!

Anyone seen Bernie of late?  Sent him a PM, but I haven't received a response.

.........

I got the white, Super Slim. I haven't messed with the Everdrive anymore since it arrived, however I did recall thinking before the Everdrive got here, after I saw the pic of Nullity's Orange Everdrive cover, how nice that looked. I just went with white, but was tempted to get orange. Since I had not dealt with Shapeways before, and was unsure how their vinyl dying was, I figured a good first order would be the plain white.

Anyway, for those interested, the benefit I see of the white cover, was if you like glowing lights and stuff, the white allows you to see the power light of the Everdrive clearly. I didn't even know the thing had a power light on it prior to ordering.

I actually was interested in the white myself, if only to match the Duo-R it will be in.

Kindly post a pic or 2 when you receive yours I'd love to see what it looks like.

So, you want a pic of the everdrive + white shapeways cover inside a Duo-R with the power light on the everdrive active?

*Edited to add below;

Reson8er, I'm not sure if this is what you wanted, but just in case, below is a pic of the Everdrive plugged into a Duo-R, with a slim Shapeways cover on it, and the access light active.

The cover is nice, not only in that it protects the Everdrive, but it gives you someplace to grip when removing it from the system.

I was interested in this as well, so this is a good picture. I know this case won't protect it from any kind of damage, it looks more so to just cover the top from dust and whatnot. I like the light shining through.

Oh, this should protect it from damage. The plastic is tough. This Shapeways slim case is not just a dust cover! When I gripped it to remove from the system, my thumb pressed on the top of the Slim Shapeways cover.

The slim Everdrive cover from Shaepways is tough. There is no, "give" to it. I imagine the normal cover is even tougher.
