Rules:
-All members are allowed one submission. When there are no further submissions, we will have a reset and everyone will be able to submit another game.
-Each game may only be submitted once.
-If you wish to retract your submission, please do so at least two weeks before your game is due. Your next submission will go to the back of the cue.
-Please don't submit games that have a high language barrier or will take too long to complete (particularly RPGs).
-Please don't submit games that are too expensive. Below $50 is best. Above $100 won't work.

So this was the first PCE game i ever bought. I got it cheap because i wanted to have a game just in case i bought a system without a game. So it was the first PCE game i ever played.

Never played any other versions (would like to try the Saturn one) but i LOVE Fantasy Zone! I especially love the music in this game as well. The later stages especially. I know this game can be really easy once you get the hang of it (like the one level where you pretty much just stay low and shoot all the bases) but the real challenge is trying to beat your previous score.  Maybe I'm praising Fantasy Zone too much, but i love this game. 2 cute.

Hi guys. Sorry not to give this thread a more proper start. I've been away on business for days, and now I am actually packing my stuff to move to a new apartment tomorrow.

I'll try to get the next thread off to a better start, but I can't promise anything at the moment. It's a crazy month.

Never beat this one but had it and played it a lot as a child. The music instantly pops in my head when I see the title. Maybe it's time to try to beat it.

I picked up the PCE version not too long ago.  A fun game indeed. 

I managed to beat it with some crazy luck, as I was able to drop a Heavy Bomb on the final boss/enemy that chases you around.  Not sure if I would be able to do it again if I tried.

Unfortunately i can only beat it that way, with the heavy bomb. I always feel a little guilty because i can easily get through the rest of the game without. I've tried so many times to beat the final thing it shoots out, it's so hard.

Same here. I can't beat the final boss/enemy/a$$hole without the heavy bomb either

I've never liked Fantasy Zone all that much, for some reason... I have it for both SMS and TG16, but... eh.  I like other shmups a lot more.

I can make it to the last boss pretty easily but I never could beat him. I guess I need to try the heavy bomb.....................

P.S. Is using the turbo switch cheating? It makes the game so much easier.

I say: use turbo switch until you are man/woman enough to beat it without.
