This lot is too rich for my blood. But posting as seller says he has more to post. Maybe my cheap ass can afford some of those. Already PM'd list of what I am looking for.

100% agree, Cotton has gone for twice the asking price here or more on eBay.  $280 is a great price, if you don't agree then you probably have some ideas about "value for money" that don't reflect the current state of the marketplace.

It's also sold on ebay recently for less than what he's asking, but I guess only the highest price sale is the "current marketplace".

While I mostly agree with what you have said, it is FAR from the highest price sale.  I've seen auctions, not BINs, end at 600+.

I'm kind of surprised at the reaction here.  The price on Cotton & DEII are pretty fair, IMO, compared to recent sale history.

100% agree, Cotton has gone for twice the asking price here or more on eBay.  $280 is a great price, if you don't agree then you probably have some ideas about "value for money" that don't reflect the current state of the marketplace.

Hey, I bought Cotton from an estate sale back in 2012 for $1. That means Cotton is only worth $1. You are a stupid shit if you even pay $10... that is 1000% of what I paid! Anyone who argues with this logic is an ebay-gouger a$$hole collectard.

Also, back in the 1950s, I could get a jug of milk for ten cents, delivered! Now those stupid super-market gouger selltards are trying to get $3.50! WHAT THE SHIT IS THAT?

I'm gonna let Willis off the hook for this one. What I want are the heads of our so-called members who are PM'ing him right now with offers to buy at those prices.

I believe that there are more silent members who only communicate through PMs (or post exclusively in buy/sell/trade/raffle threads) than active contributors.

Did you actually look at the auction?  Because that copy had the UPC cut out from the rear insert.

and of course eBay is the end-all-be-all "marketplace" in general

I don't believe that's what I said.  And the private sales I've seen for Cotton have been comparable with eBay prices, so I'm not sure what your point is here.  "The marketplace", as far as I'm concerned, is the sum of any and all recent sales.  For games as rare as Cotton that does tend to be eBay, but I digress.

I mean, I messaged to see if GoT has all the manuals. I'll base my offer upon that. I'll make an offer that I'm comfortable paying. So if the games are bought at those prices then so be it.
