Not a prototype.  Chop sells these.  He also sells Coryoon on the same chip.

I've got two of these booty hueys (Magical Chase and Megaman); they're seemingly well made, sturdy and with a good heft.  There's room for improvement, though, as I'd rather the eeprom was a bit further down the board so a hump could be installed (like SFII).
