I don't know what you're talking about. . Shrink wrap easily adds another $550 or so in value to any thing. For example, a used VHS copy of Pretty Woman is worth about 50 cents to a dollar. . add some shrink wrap to it, and you've now easily got a treasure worth about $550.50 to $551.00.
It's simple science really
Oh i see
ill stick to the used complete copies for my part. I even saw video games stores that re-shrink wrap old games to sell them as brand new one. i dont trust brand new anymore since then (except if it just came out), if its used and complete i'm fine with it.
I heard some Gamestop stores do that, sell used copies by re-shrink wrapping them. Although, they aren't technically "used," since all they did was take off the shrink wrap. But still, I'm a hardcore collector, and I don't like anybody tampering with my copy!
I used to own a game store and had a professional shrink wrap machine. It is possible to make it look brand new.
As for a brand new copy of Dragon Slayer, I think the OP should just put it on Ebay as an auction to let the folks on there vote with their bids as to its true value. I highly doubt it would sell anywhere your perceived value price.
