WTB: Dungeon Master Theron's Quest
« on: August 29, 2014, 12:08:20 PM »
This is one of those games I've put off getting for years. It just never jumped out as something I HAD to play. However, I'm at that point where I feel like I've played most games and this one occurred to me.

Here's the deal, I always remember this being a $30-40 game. But when I went to eBay, everyone is asking $70+ for it. ???!!!???!!!

Is there anyone here looking to unload this one at a price someone would actually pay? I'm definitely not a flipper. It would go to a loving home where it will stay. Permanently.

Also, just because something is listed for $70 on ebay, doesn't mean it's a $70 game. All of the sold listing have ended at $40+/-. Chill out. Wait a couple weeks.

Don't you have a history of these kinds of posts?

Anyway, complete current history of SOLD copies on eBay ranges from $37.99 - $39.99

Currently available on to buy on eBay for $34.99.

Also, if you look at the For Sale threads on forums like PCEngineFX, instead of posting random "why can't I find this game at this price?" threads, you'll find things like Dungeon Master Theron's Quest rotting unsold for over two weeks for $34. The very top/first thread of this section and now directly beneath yours.

Retro forums being spammed by these kinds of posts is what helps inflate both asking and selling prices as the majority of "collectors" are both oblivious and naive.
