UPDATE: This batch is all gone!  There are still more raw sheets, but they need manual processing to make them work, so I'll let you know when there are more.  Thanks!

Hi all,
I apologize for the VERY long delay on this.  Chop5 worked tirelessly on making some of the first batch of TurboPosers actually work, and I do have a handful in stock.  A number of life events kept me busy the past months, and honestly I forgot to post that they were ready
Due to the extra labor and parts costs, I'd like to make them available at $5 each, and I am not currently offering volume discounts (except for maybe 50 cents off per each extra to account for no added postage costs).  There is only a limited supply of these, as they do require significant manual labor to make them work on this revision.
However, I am in the middle of an important project for TG16 and PC Engine fans, and now need some working TG16 HuCards to try it out.  (I've got Keith already, thanks!)  I'd be gladly willing to send at least one of these to donors of HuCards free of charge.  I don't care about cosmetic condition, just that it works in a TG16.  I also do not need PC Engine HuCards -- I've got a bunch already.
Again, my apologies on the lateness of this post.  Looking forward to hearing from you!

EDIT: PS, if you're wondering what a TurboPoser is, see https://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=15866.0

I would buy one just to support the cause. Or, I'll donate $5.

I thank you for the offer to donate, but what I really need right now is some TG16 Hueys other than Keith! ;)  I suspect I'll just take whatever money I get and have to turn around and go to eBay and buy some at this point.

Thanks -- that won't be necessary.
I'm down to about half of the ones I started with, so if you're interested in one, please let me know ASAP.  Thanks!

I received my TurboPosers yesterday and had a chance to try them out tonight.  It is first worth mentioning that each TurboPoser actually handles 2 games.  I'm not sure if that's how they all come, or if I was lucky.  Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised that the two I ordered will actually handle 4 cards.  This will make my friends happy as I will give them each one so they can start playing PCE games on their TG's.

I tested them on all 8 of the PCE games I own and they worked perfectly.  The only card it did not work on was my Japanese Super System card.  I'm not sure if these just plain won't work with a system card or if it's a problem with my copy.  My SS card does act up once in awhile so I will continue testing.

All in all, I am very happy with the product and want to thank ishiyakazuo for getting these out to the masses.  This is a good, inexpensive alternative for someone who doesn't want to mod their console or doesn't want to spend the bux on a converter.  If these will indeed work with a CD system card, then that will help a lot of folks who don't want to/can't spend the big dollars on a U.S. Super System card or region mod.

I also removed and reinserted game cards with the TurboPoser installed many many times and it did not move or bend.  Also, the adhesive used to hold these on to the cards works well so they can be used over and over again.  I'm sure over time the adhesive will wear out/deteriorate and a different adhesive will need to be applied.  You cannot argue the bang for the buck with this product though.

Glad to hear someone enjoyed them!
The reason that they're now double-sided is because it can be dangerous to let them go all the way into the TG16 (in theory, they could end up in there "permanently" if the adhesive loosens up and/or it just gets snagged on the HuCard slot).  So to make them long enough that they don't go fully in, it was decided to leave them longer, which meant making them double-sided.  Chop5 said that the chopsados eventually wear out, and while these are gold-plated and less likely to wear, I figured it's probably reasonable to ship backups in case of trouble ;)
It should work with a Super System Card -- I know at least one person has told me that it works fine for them (when some other solutions didn't), so it could be something with your card, as you say.

I have a TurboPoser, and I can attest that it works great with a Japanese Super System Card 3.0.  It plays Super CD Games without a hitch.  I have tried it out at least 5-6 times by now and never had a problem.

I have another Converter (a more expensive one) that will go to the Super System Screen (with the flashing run message) sometimes.  I encountered a blank screen and had to reset the system a few times to get it working.  Even when the Super System Screen came up, it would never play Super CD Games, since it defaulted to 2.0 System Card mode every time.

This is great news for folks who don't have US System Card 3, correct?

I can (hopefully) use a Japanese System Card in TG-CD with this?

In the words of Chris Farley during his role in Billy Madison "That is correct."

Yes, I couldn't afford an American System Card 3.0 ($200.00, if you can find one).  This is why I had to get a converter to play the Japanese Card 3.0 ($20.00).

I tested the TurboPoser again the other day, and it still works perfectly.  I have even been playing Castlevania Dracula X: Rondo of Blood to Stage 4.  Good stuff.

Awesome. I've never played any 3.0+ games on my TG-CD, so this will be fun.
