Yikes, Well good luck with the new house, nat.

Everything over here is in milk crates until I can start resuming repairs :|

My stuff is all in a pile on the floor.  A picture would get me banned.

It happens. At least you still have them.

I'm currently using these little mini milk crates. They're actually pretty neat, but they've just gotten filled up. At this point I'd rather invest in a shelving unit or some sort of display rather than keep on buying the mini crates.

They work great, don't they?

The dairy supply place a few blocks from my house throws out the old crates that are slightly damaged or have been hit by graffiti. Whenever I see a usable crate in 1 piece I grab it, they usually dump the ones they don't want the night before the recycling truck comes by, and sometimes they do have to be hosed down.  :-&

Fortunately, after a good cleaning they stack very nicely, and keep the collection organized, if not immediately accessible.

I used to steal milk crates to put my vinyl in, lol. Then I found out that I could get better shaped and more attractively colored crates at the hardware store.
