The other reason.. well I had few instances when mates came over and while im away either on the phone or in the kitchen checking food, they look at my games take out the manual, it gets creased, folded up, left lying around and manual ends up being sat on and a big foot print embedded on the pages.  I'm pretty sure if you encounted that you too will end up putting your stuff away in wrapping etc..

If my friends were the type of people who left footprints in the manuals of my PCE games I'd get new friends.

and as for the battery.. the empty pocket fits the size of CR2032 battery.  I keep thinking its those batteries which are used.

In the case of the Ten no Koe, you'd be right:

Well, a 2320, close enough.

so now still the question's left, what exactly is in the bulge of street fighter II'. since it doesn't use a battery for sure and only the storage is increased to ist 20Mbit.

Very clever way of quoting!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

There you go. Klick image to show full size.

My PCE game rack:

Some of my gems along with some samples:

Unfortunately a few important titles like Sylphia, Darius alpha and Powerleague Allstars Gold are still missing  :(

Some Hardware:

It's currently about 660 titles, so still a few to go. I keep on searching...

Greetings to all PCE freaks out there from a big fan in Hamburg, Germany.

Wow, is that like all of them, save fo the titles you mentioned?

And is that the bootleg Sapphire in between the other two.  :P

Although my collection is nowhere near that big, that just made me realize how ridiculous my own pile must look to non PCE fanboys.  :D

@Black_Tiger
Good Eyes man. Only one who owns both versions sees the difference, right ;-)
But i'm very happy of the bootlegged copy, since i can leave the holy original copy in the shelf.

Yeah, I actually do own both. But the reason I can quickly spot the difference is because I studied both to figure out all the recognizable traits.

If you or anyone you know are considering buying another one, you can easily confirm what you're getting (even with out a photo) by using my guide-

Damn.  herr-g, I gotta say your collection is frickin' nuts.  Good work.
How come you guys with the biggest collections don't post on here more often?  It seems like all of us intermediate collectors and noobs blindly stumble along, trying to decipher obscure bits of trivia and decade-old rumors.  Meanwhile, guys like you, d-lite and bt are off dwelling on some other plane with your god-like collections.  Once in awhile you swoop down and grace us with your presence while we muck about in the mundane ebay/flea-market sphere trying to track down things as primitive as a box for Ys....damn.

Although my ego IS feeling pretty stoked about my copy of Sylphia right now.  *heheheh* 8)

That's one helluva collection, herr-g.

Thibaut, do you have the Marble Madness prototype? If you or anyone else does, I would love to see a video or some screenshots of it! :)
