I got my items today and packaged them up. I'll be sending my gift out sometime this week, with plenty of time to spare before Christmas

I shipped my gift yesterday but stupidly lost the receipt with the tracking number. Hope it arrives well, I'll have to search for the receipt sometime tomorrow.

That happened to me once two years ago on another forum I use to do the secret Santa thing.


Long story short they guy had moved (got kicked out of his now ex girlfriends apartment) and I hadn't realized he sent me a change of address.

So the gift went to the wrong place. I had no way to prove I sent anything. I sent some quick Amazon stuff of his list but still to the same wrong address. This was when I realized my mistake. 

Eventually I was able to redirect the goods from the original package but not the Amazon stuff as since it was returned it got creditors back to my card. 

Thought about resenting the Amazon stuff to be a nice guy and all since by the time it got corrected it was middle of Jan way late for a Christmas gift

These should arrive before Christmas as I managed to catch today's post.  The deadline for UK -> USA Christmas delivery is tomorrow, so just made it :-)
