It seems like much of the backlash comes from two points:
1) I'm not a contributing member of the forum.
2) My prices are too high for this forum ("asks outrageous prices for games that regular members literally give away.").
To be honest - and I've been honest since the beginning - I feel my contribution on any forum is what I have to offer for sale. If nobody feels like my prices are good, I won't sell anything and I'll move on (I've made sales here regularly since the day I joined). I don't participate in any forum beyond this capacity. Ultimately, this is another sales venue for me because, yes, I do run a business. As I've said repeatedly here, literally everything I offer here sells for more on other venues. I understand that a $205 new Somer Assault does not sit will with some of you but please understand that I've sold several at $225 on other venues (and those venues get their cut). That goes for every item available here.
That some members have given away sealed games is very generous but as a business, it's obviously not a winning strategy.
Shenmue - I've sold more than 11 copies of Shenmue in the last few months because...that's what I do for a living. The $240 unit was an LE unit, by the way.
I'd rather open up more avenues to move merchandise by offering it at fee-less prices than sell strictly on Ebay but I'll move on from PCEFX (never an issue anywhere else). I don't have the time or energy to defend what I shouldn't have to defend. For many of you, this is a coup of sorts. No grudges held, met a handful of solid dudes and made a few deals. C'est la vie !
