Avatar: I don't really like anime or anything, but I happen to like that particular character (I also envy that hair color).

Signature: Just a button that leads to my Ys website. Read everything about Ys!    At least I'm hoping to include more information there sometime in the future (I'm working on a new website which will replace the current one).

Avatar: The PC-FX.  I choose this photo as it was one of the more rare professional shots of the unit with dramatic lighting.

Sig: First is the last banner I made for Pcenginefx.com.  I really like this design and have used it for a long time now.  If you can't tell, the background is an extreme close-up of the TG-16, heavily color corrected.  The characters to the right represent the PCE (Cotton), PC-FX (Rolfee) and TG-16 (Bonk).  Below that is my Xbox 360 Gamercard which you can see what I am currently playing in my spare time.

My avatar uses Kabuki's non-battle sprite with the spinning flaming Manji (or swastika if you're ignorant) background from the title screen of Tengai Makyou II.

Kabukiden will alawys be my favorite game and because of it, I love Tengai Makyou in general.

Black Tiger is of course the North American title of the greatest arcade game ever made, which of course was made by Capcom.

Hey Tatsujin I totally dig your new avatar!

Does anyone know what the American TGCD says in the LED? I have always assumed TG. When I first saw a PCE+CDROM2 displayed at a museum, I didn't know that the LED actually lit up "PC" when you played a game and I thought that was super rad!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

If you don't know what my avatar is, then prepare to die.

As for my sig, well..if you don't know that scene in the picture, then prepare to die......again!

As for the written part, well...someone has to keep track on the books of Ys somehow! If you don't have that authorization, prepare to die......for the third time!

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!

Keranu - The TurboGrafx-16 CD-ROM says "PC" and is exactly like the picture you posted.  In fact I think the PC Engine CD-ROM and the TG-16 CD-ROM are the same player, only with a slightly different lid and, of course, the color.  I bet one unit would work on the other.  Wouldn't that rock to see a PC Engine or CoreGrafx with a black Turbo CD player sitting next to it?  Or a TG-16 with a white PC Engine CD-ROM sitting behind it?  Of course it would rock.

Anyway, my avatar is from the PC Engine title screen of Shinobi, the most popular game ever made (except for the other games that are even more popular, of course).  My signature is non-existent because I hate sigs.  I am glad that I can turn them off with this new forum software so I don't have to see all your guys' sigs!

Joe, when I read your posts - I picture you and your face as your avatar. I picture you sitting there - as shinobi - writing replys/posts and what not.

Weird.. I know, but you are the shinobi.

Bonknuts, it's the same for me when I see anyone else who happens to have a face somewhere in their avatars.   Let this be a word to the wise; don't pick an avatar that features a character with a retarded look on his face, or else I'll think you're just as witty.  It's hell when someone changes avatars.  It takes awhile to recognize them again, like Michael Jackson.

By the way, I assume Keranu is always struggling with a bowel movement.  :)

Another weird experience is when I get used to a person's avatar before playing the game that the avatar came from.  Once I finally play the game I'm like "Hey look it's so-and-so!  I hope he doesn't act like such a 'tard in this game!"

Ahh cool, thanks for clearing that up for me. Wouldn't it have totally rocked if the TGCD said TG on it instead though  ? Anyway, Michael Helgeson on these boards told me before that you can use each region's CD player on the other region's hardware dock. I would like to get some pictures of any mixes if anyone has the equipment and time :) . Core Grafx + TGCD would look killer!

Hahaha, that's happened to me on so many occasions! It's not just games too, but anything like cartoons, TV, or movies.

the only prob would be, that a "T" is difficult do show on a 7-segment display, same as well for the "G" :-k

Well, the G would be a 6 without the middle segment.

The T would probably have the top segment and the segments down one side.  Not ideal though.
