Some of my obey got got while up in Detroit last wknd. I got reimbursed for what I felt was fair market value for the games by the con already. Below is a list of what LOOSE games I'm looking for with my WTB price shipped.

$25 Battle Lode Runner [pending]
$30 Dragon Saber [fulfilled]
$35 Parasol Stars JP [fulfilled]
$35 Parodius [pending]
$30 Ninja Spirit JP [fulfilled]
$40 Splatterhouse US [fulfilled]
$65 Lords or Winds of Thunder [pending]
$45 Gate of Thunder 4-in-1 [fulfilled]

Again, I'm looking to replace my stolen loose games, no need for CIB. If you have CIB and like my price, then cool...I'll give away on the forums the extra manuals and cases I get. I also have no issue with the JP version of the few US games listed.

I'm sure I have done the "take your bike and go and keep the f*cken thing" while impaired but this time we have video footage of the culprit. At least my gear was replicable and non-rares. The other retro guy had all this Saturn, 360, PS3 and more ganked. Valued in the $1000's. The thief took just CD cases and software...I'm sure he thought my CD book of Hu's was discs for current gen systems. He even riffled through my PCB's but left them all there.

I bet some Gamestop employee is going to be WTF when he attempts to trade them in :)

Null -> you're still buying me a beer(or 12)!

Got Saber, Gate, N.Spirit and Splatter taken care of, now who has a loose Parodius and parasol for this cat? A burn of Lords can hold me over till I source a Winds.

Parasol won on ebay. Got a guy looking for Parodius and Battle Lode Runner from over at GameGavel. Almost there!

I ended up with a regular Lode Runner by accident, but CIC for under $10...I can deal with it. At least it's not a digital comic.

That sucks your stuff got stolen. Glad to see you are getting some of the games back. I'm always super cautious when i go to gaming tournaments and what not. There are some grimy people out there. I recently brought a bunch of my turbo and PCE games to a game night at a local game store. i made sure to create a list of everything i brought (like 20 games) and i placed the list next to the PC duo-r that was set up, and kept the games in my bag. So if people wanted to play something they had to ask me. I wish i didn't have to do that, but dems be the breaks.

I had a Parasol but looks like you're taken care of there. Dude, I feel your pain. The emotions that ran through me when I found out my goods were stolen isn't something I ever want coursing through my veins again. But this community took great care of me and I'll always be grateful to them for everything. Good luck and God bless, my friend.

How did the theft even occur? Did you have your table setup and someone distracted you while he took the goods? Or was this like an inside job when everyone was gone?

If ppl want to know: Someone that was not hotel staff or an attendee (read: drifter/bum/homeless/street rat) came up the service elevator into the back area where we were storing our hand trucks, empty boxes, spare cables, along with our extra games. There was a camera, so the hotel saw what went down. The front doors where being watched and staff was present in the game room but because the elevator was behind a curtain, separating the storage area, no one new until I heading down in the AM to swap out games.

Dude was looking for disc based games(namely current gen), in what I assume was hope that he could sell/pawn for cash. Because I had used a CD disc case to carry my obey, he grabbed that with out even opening it to look what was inside. HuCards fit well enough in the CD sleeves along with the CD games(I had mostly burns just for this type of fear). He left $150 PCBs and my controllers but you can tell they where rummaged through. There was another guys stuff back there also, I over heard it was closer to $10,000 of games and consoles that were lost.

At least nothing rare was lost and I've been reimbursed in cash my estimated loss. Live and learn, or at least f*ck DETROIT.

That sucks man. It has been my experience that conventions, and large get-to-gethers have at least one person who just comes to try and steal some shit.
